QUOSA was founded in the 1990s by Harvard- and MIT-affiliated mathematicians researching contextual search applications. By the early 2000s, the company focused on applications in the biomedical field—and leveraged its technology to develop products to meet the increasing demands of managing scientific literature collections. QUOSA now serves over 60 corporate customers, and numerous leading academic and government research institutions around the world. Among these are 17 of the top 25 global pharmaceutical and biotech companies.
