QUOSA Browser Plus

Product Overview

QUOSA Browser Plus is a browser-based tool for personal literature management (articles and internal documents).

It is also one of two options for publishing documents to the Virtual Library (a companion QUOSA product; with the other option being the Information Manager, a desktop application). Key features of QUOSA Browser Plus allow you to:

  • Search within the familiar interfaces of the literature database Web sites (QUOSA calls them channels; standard channels include OvidSP and PubMed)
  • Automatically download full-text articles from a results set with one click. QUOSA recognizes when you have a subscription to a specific resource and brings the full text PDF when available.
  • Keep a running history of the article sets retrieved from your searches. Create folders within QUOSA to organize your articles; you may drag and drop articles from the search history to any folder and QUOSA automatically de-dupes within the folder
  • Integrate seamlessly with citation management software like EndNote and Reference Manager. Send citations to citation management libraries or import citations into QUOSA
  • Export articles from QUOSA Browser Plus to a Windows folder quickly and easily. Create a meaningful naming convention for each file using components from the article's citation
  • Publish articles from QUOSA Browser Plus into the Virtual Library for immediate sharing with colleagues and workgroups. QUOSA Browser Plus is one tool you may use to publish articles to the Virtual Library (the other is Information Manager)
